Equality Loudoun is based on the principles of equality for all people, regardless of their immutable and inherent characteristics. Accordingly, we do not permit within our organization or our partner organizations any form of discrimination to include on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age (40 or older), disability and genetic information (including family medical history).

DATA COLLECTION POLICY

In the digital age, we recognize the importance of privacy, safety, and cyber security. Accordingly, no information we collect will be sold to outside entities. We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII), other than name and email, when subscribing or signing up for offerings such as our newsletter, meetings, or volunteering. For any other PII, such as third-party event ticket sites, we  thoroughly research our vendors to ensure that information is stored securely. In the event of a breach with one of our vendors, we will notify anyone affected immediately.

NEWS & MEDIA INQUIRIES

We understand that often media may seek interviews of individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, however, we can not and will not be involved in soliciting individuals for interviews that may out or harm an individual, intentionally or unintentionally. In the event you wish to interview a student/child/minor, we may be able to provide the information of a parent - but we will not provide information for anyone of the age of 18 under any circumstances.

Further, we do not align ourselves with any political group or cause and will not attend partisan events in any official capacity. While our members represent a bi-partisan collection of individuals who may participate in various political events, they are not permitted to do so as a representative of Equality Loudoun.
