COMMUNITY
Community is what picks us up and keeps us going when we fall down, from the friends we make to the families we unite and build. Through a combination of social support, opportunities to meet others like us, and chances to celebrate what makes us each unique and wonderful, we can find the value in ourselves and our community.
Digital Community
For our team, digital communities are the forefront of connection and action! By building networks, we can be prepared to stand up quickly when opportunities arise to confront bigotry and injustice. When we don't have the capacity or need to fight, we use these networks to share and listen to those like us who can empathize, empower, and uplift. At the core of our efforts are bringing awareness via our monthly newsletters, daily social media postings, and expansive website.

Hosted Events
We work to host a number of events every year that create inclusive and engaging places for you to find networks of support and lots of fun. We also work to collaborate with other organizations and groups to co-host events around the region. We plan a slate of events every year that take into consideration individual and family needs, socio-economic conditions, and interest. As we develop them you can find information on our Special Events web page.

Engagement Events
Across the County and beyond, you can find our volunteers everywhere you're already headed! From SterlingFest to the Apple Festival and everywhere in between! We work to get out into the community at dozens events every year to represent the queer community. Check out some of our upcoming engagements below and stop by to say hi!
Community Center
In 2023, we announced that we were exploring options to construct an LGBTQ+ Community Center to offer vital services and offerings to the queer community and it's allies in a safe and accepting place! In 2024, we completed initial planning for the process and are moving to active exploration and funding in 2025. If you are interested in assisting, please get in touch!
